Fire and Explosion

The investigation of fires is a complex task and we can provide experts who can carry out assessments of fire loci, chemical analysis of substances and review of Crown Fire Reports and Insurance Reports.

In addition to being expert witnesses who can report on the causes of fires, we can also assess improvised explosive devices and items that can be used to create such devices.

The laboratory at the Centre for Forensic Investigation at Glasgow Caledonian University can recreate incidents and explore the mechanisms of fire spread.
